I've been getting my taxes done at H&R Block in Dover by Dave Walls for the past 15 years. I am always advised on new tax laws and how I could possibly receive a bigger refund. I would not have my taxes done anywhere else. The staff at H&R Block in Dover, DE are friendly and always go above and beyond.
I have been going to the Camden location for years. I see the same person every year named Becky she always does a wonderful job. Love this location don't think I would ever go anywhere else.
When filing for the 2014 tax year it was discovered the tax preparer had incorrectly done husband's taxes for the 2013 year and an amendment was filed. Was told it would be covered under Peace of Mind, just bring in the letter from the IRS when it was received. Letter was received and left at office in June of 2015. We were told everything would be handled. Then when we filed taxes this year we found out that was a lie. No claim was ever placed and our refund for 2015 was adjusted for the amount plus fines and interest owed to IRS. On February 27,2016 the office magically found our letter from June and said they would process the claim and that it would take 2-3 weeks(this was after we came in asking for an explaination). The following week we received the letter explaining the penalties from the IRS and brought that letter to the office and got told it was in process and we'd receive a check in the mail. Today I called corporate and found out no claim had been submitted so we decided to go back into the office where we were first told that yes everything was in process and we just had to wait. Then another woman said she would look into it and guess what no claim had been filed. We also found out they only cover the penalties from the original letter in June of 2015, not the ones added this year AFTER THEY FAILED TO SUBMIT the peace of mind when we originally dropped off the papers.
They are awesome on service and it is vary quick
