Loved the restorations and menu options were plentiful. Had a delightful lunch with friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food and warm atmosphere. Definitely look forward to more dining at the new Grey Fox Grille.
Gotta say though, the biggest redeeming quality was the bartender. I finally had to settle on an old-fashioned. bartender made it beautifully. That’s the reason for me giving the place three stars instead of two. Everyone at the table was impressed with how good the old fashioned was.
Came here for New Years Eve dinner with my wife. Menu was really fanstatic. Had chicken with crab meat and smashed potatoes. Everything was very flavorful. Was in from NC and was in visting friends. Loved the ambience of the old style house. Wait staff was on point and super friendly. Would recommend highly.
Great food and atmosphere. We usually go a few times a month for the chef specials. I also sneak out for lunch when I can. Never been disapointed by the food at this place. The #tots and desserts are amaizing!
However, in full disclosure my friends and I got there only 90 minutes before closing time. I can forgive them in this case as that has a tendency to happen with restaurants.
I was disappointed with the lack of essentially everything on the menu that I wanted to have. This went on until I was put into the position of hoping they had the ingredients to make a salad. They were out of several beers and what seemed like half their menu.
Loved the Antebellum old house. The service was friendly but unfocused. The soup was tasty but the beans crunchy. The chicken wrap was just so so. I'm from out of town and I don't think I would try them again. I ask for a Togo drink of unsweetened tea (that's what I had with my meal), I when I went to drink it down the road I found it was sweet. Too sweet because I also added sweetener.
