Great place, loads of diversity, warm family environment. If your not a nice person don't visit you will ruin the atmosphere.
In regards to the Kent County Code violation that is being placed on the church due to the camper that has been placed on the church property in order to provide a temporary home for a young, single, pregnant mother who is also blind, I would like to suggest that the church look into setting up a GO Find Me Page for this young lady. It is very hard to get on your feet without help when you find yourself in this type of situation, I know from experience. I believe the church is doing the right thing by placing the camper on their property and that the county should be ashamed of themselves for the way they are handling the situation, how many of these campers do you see all over Kent County on private property? I can think of at least 10 locations and the property owners are charging outrageous rent for which they are not claiming on their taxes nor have these places been inspected by the county and been approved for occupancy! Of all these properties that are in violation they pick the church to give an official citation to.... could it be because they feel they can get more money from the church in fines, I believe so. I also believe that the county needs to take drive in West Dover, Kenton, Hartly, Blackiston, West Clayton and see all the private property owners doing this same thing for a profit, the church isn't profiting, they are helping a family in need! The would be much more revenue coming in to the county in the form of taxes than there would be by placing fines on the Victory Church! Let's all day a prayer for this young lady, her children and the entire church.
The spirit is there everytime i go and leave, Great preaching and great people doing what The word says. This is a great house of worship and fellowship.
