Went to get the peek a boo rainbow done, Jessica did my hair and it turned out awesome! If you want fun colors done ask for her.
This is the most rude and unprofessional place ! I called at 7:20pm to make a appointment for tomorow and the women named "Katie " told me I need to call back tomorow because there closing soon . They don't close till 8pm .. I don't see why she couldn't just schedule my appointment really quick . Unfortantley since the lady was so rude I'll never know how they do hair !
I am a hairdresser myself so I am very picky and know exactly what I want (I stopped doing hair at a salon after 10 years and became a paralegal full-time). I should have known that the girl who did my hair was obviously not good when she started cutting the base line in the back of my head by holding the hair down with ther fingers and not cutting on my neck where the hair almost meets my shoulders. Then, she started cutting the sides of my head and said I could keep my head down. Haircutting 101, that is a huge NO NO! She said she knew how to point cut, when in fact all she knew how to do was cut a straight line by tilting her scissors slightly on an angle. Point cutting is used to 1) make sure there are no lines in a haircut and 2) to take the bulk out of the bottom of a haircut. This is done by cutting deeply into the hair at the bottom (which I had to sit there and try to teach her). I asked her to do it how I taught her within my layering. She obviously still had no clue what she was doing because I still have bulk on the bottom of my hair. I then asked her to go a little shorter with the layering. All she did was cut the top of my head, going lower into the parietal ridge on the one side and not the other and cutting shorter on the on that same side on the top part of the crown. It looks like someone tried cutting my hair with a bowl placed cockeyed on my head. She didnt even seem to bother to blend the bottom and middle with what she had just cut.I asked for a textured haircut that had a bottom that was straight and not angled (easy, or so I thought). What I got is a excessively screwed up haircut that looks like a child did it. She asked me to feel through my hair to let her know how it felt. I pointed out the spots that felt longer than the other side and she had a look on her face like I was being a pain in her ass. The side bang that I asked for is also extremely catastrophic looking as well that I have to pin it back until it grows out enough for me to fix it myself. To top off my whole experience, I had asked for a wash, cut and style. I have very wavy hair that I mainly wear straight. All she did was blow it dry and asked me how I looked. No flat iron to show it actually could look good. I was so frustrated by that point and needed to get out of her cahir before I started getting verbally abusive. I was charged $36.00 for something that I normally wouldn't have paid $5.00 for, but I was so pissed off and just wanyes to get out of there, I will be calling today to get my money back. I have always prided myself on being a good tipper because I have been in the business for years but I was so tempted to stiff her because of her inability to perform a simple haircut. I regret giving her a tip at all but I guess she can't help that she sucks at her job, I will chalk it up to poor training. She is a nice person but needs to go back to school to re-learn how to do her job. I now have to go find someone that knows what they are doing and have more hair chopped off than I want to. It's always wonderful when you are trying to grow your hair out, go in for a shape-up and end up having to get another haircut and take off more hair so you look normal. Had to re-wash my hair 3 times this morning in an attempt to make it look half-way decent for a hearing that I have today at work. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!
Pretty good place. Wasn't happy when I was told that they only take walk-ins so I went as a walk in and nobody was available to cut my hair for a few hours due to not having anybody working but they made up for it by doing a great job on my hair
I took my two small children in and both were refusing to get their hair cut. The staff was so helpful and friendly and went above and beyond! Both boys ended up getting their hair cut and afterwards my oldest said he wanted to go there every time he needs his hair cut.
