The library is clean, quiet(unless you go when there is a mini-con),the staff is really friendly,the children section is the best place to take your kids to learn and play, great little theatre for people who want to just chill and relax, also a great place for teens and adults who enjoy anime to get away from real life ,They also help the homeless by letting them get out of the cold during the day until they close and let a group from a church use their space to provide Wawa food so the can have a hot meal they are. Best place I've been ever since the old one shut down and got a bigger place I recommend it to anyone and everyone. wonderful.
The Dover public library is, by far, the nicest library I've ever been in. The staff there are very friendly and extremely helpful. The children's area is perfect in every way! My 4 kids LOVE going to the library now and ask everyday to go there. Most of the staff have the patience to deal with children being children there. They understand that young children don't always use library voices and can't sit still very long. We went from not going to a library at all to now going to the Dovee public library 3-4 times a week!!

The library is clean, well organized, appropriate ly quiet, and reasonably stocked. The bathrooms smell however, or at least the men's bathroom does. The librarians are very helpful. Went on a Saturday to find books I could use in writing a lesson plan for heart of darkness and things fall apart. I was able to get what I needed within a decent time frame.they were a many transients Who sit on the benches outside. I suspect that is the reason for the horrible bathroom smell. Aside from that however I had a pleasant experience
