The golden fleece is a small tavern with a large variety of both locals and the people who are here for business, military life, and college to relax and have a good time after a hard week. There is always a live DJ, a dance floor, and most of security know who the regulars are and have a sixth sense about when someone is about to get themselves into trouble and quickly de-escalate the situation. Only dress code that I know of is guys must where sleeves. Awesome place to wind down after a hard day's work and meet new people.
Staff go out of their way to make your evening enjoyable. Drinks affordable and love playing darts in the backroom. Lo e the outside patio in warmer months. My go-to spot for Thursday nights. You'll feel like your in the Cheers pub in Boston. Look for Norm. Cheers
Interesting place gets lively after 10 PM mostly young people that stay out late. Frequent entertainment and friendly staff
They carry Oak barrel stout by Fordham on draft for 4.50 my favorite beer in a cozy atmosphere.
Don't waste your time going in there ,its full of unprofessional and rude staff. The manager by far the rudest. I brought my friend from out of state there for karaoke on a Thursday night (actually there were 10 of us) and the manager said no slow songs. Who in the heck has "rules" in karaoke? Anyway, we put on New York, New York and the manager cut the song off in the MIDDLE of my friend singing it. Needless to say all 10 of us left and we will not frequent this place of business ever again. I would suggest that others think twice before doing the same. Bathrooms were disgusting also!
