Anyway, the machines are a bit cramped, but usually they are open for use, although certain ones like the ab machine always have someone on it. But that is the case with any ab machine. This gym has high tech machines, bikes with interactive screens and more. The staff is friendly too. So I give this gym a 4 out of 5 because it has fitlinxx and high tech equipment but limited room for it all.
Although this YMCA is a smaller one, not as big or providing as much equipment as the one in Wilmington or Newark, it is the only one that has Fitlinxx which makes working out a joy, competition, and motivational because you actually see your results everyday. I was motiavated to work harder after seeing my name on the list of top ten weight lifted in the gym. The weight machines are automatically put into the system when the staff set you up on them, and it records all of your date. The cardio machines have to be entered manually, but can be easily at the touch screen at the front of the gym. You can also enter work you do at home here, or at your own computer at home.
It has two pools the 8 lane olymipic pool and the 4 lane although usually contains a big open lane with a big water slide.
