Had a very pleasant experience at Dover Country Club. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Would highly recommend.

I've lived here for about 5 months now and this apartment has been infested with cockroaches since I moved here. Every time we contact the office they supposedly send someone over to take care of the problem and make us empty out all of our cabinets but it seems like it's not helping or they're just spraying air because it's still an ongoing problem. When we called about another incident to have them come fix our front door that was falling off the hinges they simply told us to wait until the office was open and if it was an emergency to call a certain number. When we called the number nobody answered the phone and after 4 times of trying they told us they would come take a look at it and they never did. The door is barely hanging on and my fiance keeps having to fix it every time we come in. Keep in mind this is a safety hazard! It's the front door! Any other time we have an issue the office never answers their phone. They will let it ring and ring and ring until you get the voicemail. When you get the voicemail they never call you back to confirm or to help you with any further assistance. The dumpster in the front is constantly overflowing and is always leaking and it smells horrible all over the block. The leak flows right across the parking lot and every time people park and touch the water with their tires it just stirs it up the stench. Two parking spots flood so bad with sewage they put traffic cones around it but they never bother to fix it. The laundry room is really dirty and there's bugs everywhere. Overall this place is not a good place to live for the amount of rent that they ask for. It is not worth it. They are not quick to reply but they are quick to take your money.

When I moved in, I was charged water and gas bill of more than $300 a month for about 4 months. Several efforts to get the utility company to give me a breakdown proved futile. Upon persistence I was told by the utility company that they gave the Country club one lump sum and they distributed. Needless to say after I stopped paying this bill for about three month, my bill was rectified with over $1000 subtracted. Their maintenance staff are very unprofessional. First it takes them days to respond to a request and when they come over they fail to clean the mess resulting from their work.

I was here for 4 years before and it used to be better but this is definitely not a good apartment if you have kids. I have put maintenance requests in for over a month because I had no hot water in the morning times and other times when you turn the cold water on it was hot so you had no cold water. I finally see a company fixing the hot water heater and then the following month I see there are charges for hot water that I have never been charged for when I ask the office about it they say no you are always charged for that when I have my bills and never was before . So on my bill there is a charge for hot water and water usage so you get double charged for your water usage and they still haven't fixed my issue that the cold water turns hot even though you don't have hot on. The carpets are nasty they steamed them when I first moved in so they looked OK for a couple of days and then you can see all the stains on the floor. Make sure you know you tenant landlord policies because I am definitely contacting the city for these issues. These apartments are way over priced and then they try to charge you for everything used on top of it not too mention the company that owns the buildings don't care about anyone that lives in them and they shortened the office hours so you can only get ahold of someone during certain times so if you work that makes it hard. They advertise washer and dryers but they are ones you have to pay to use so that is more money you have to pay on top. I definitely don't recommend these apartments to anyone and I cannot wait to move out!!!
