I hightly recommend the Dance Factory. My daughter has been dancing at the Dance Factory for 10 years. She takes Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theater and Hip Hop and is one of the Senior members of the studio's dance company Danceworks, as well as, senior counselor for the Musical Theater Camps. For the past two years she has been assisting with the creative, first steps and tap classes. She is one of two students from the Dance Factory who will be attending a two week summer dance intensive program at DeSales University. Both students prepared and submitted audition videos and have been awarded Scholarships. I think that speaks for itself. The Dance Factory prides itself on professionalism and making sure the students receive the best training possible. The Dance Factory's Student enrollment doubled this year--that just says it all.
I do not recommend this dance school to anyone. Classes always start 10 minutes late, ticket prices were $12/person for the recital, and the ladies who ran the studio are very unprofessional. I, along with 3 other parents, are actively looking for a different studio to enroll our daughters in the fall.
The Dance Factory is awesome. My girls love attending dance class and loves the staff as well. They enjoy attending the summer camps and can't wait for the next year to start. The staff is very pleasant and professional and they always provide an excellent recital at the end of the year. The kids feel very special and enjoy performing. The self confidence of my kids have improved since attending the Dance Factory. I highly recommend the Dance Factory to anyone looking to send their child to dance.
My daughter, now 11, has been dancing at The Dance Factory since she turned 4. The instructors are very knowledgeable and caring which is why we continue to come back year after year. They evaluate each student and make recommendations with that student in mind, according to their readiness...not only because they have turned a certain age. My daughter loves it and has made many friends over the years. The skills she learned there will carry over into her life outside the studio for sure. I have seen it with my own eyes. She is not bashful to get up in front of a group of people and dance, cheer, or make a speech. She is self confident and knows how to get people together to work on a project. She is not afraid to try something new. I think these kinds of things are priceless and will benefit her for the rest of her life. See - there's more to dance than dance! I would recommend anyone considering dance for their child to check out The Dance Factory.
My daughter loves taking classes at the Dance Factory and has been doing so for the past 6 years. She looks forward to her classes every week. She has not only grown as a dancer over the past 6 years but also as a person. She has more self confidence now than when she began. We have had a wonderful experience here. The staff truly cares about each and everyone of the students and not only helps them be the best dancer they can be but also the best person they can be. I couldn't ask for a better studio to send my daughter to.
