This is like a subway shop for pizza. They only have personal size pizza you design yourself. There are many crusts to choose from. For best results, eat at restaurant while fresh. The Greek salad is a meal in itself. Prices are reasonable for fast food. The service is quick unless you have to wait in line, as expected.
I hadn't been to any Pie Five before I tried this one in Dover. I like the concept. Basically, it's a flat price for a personal pizza with any number or combination of toppings you want. They also have a choice of pizza crusts and sauces. Even the beverage is a multitude of choices since they have a Coke Freestyle machine and several flavors of iced teas in addition to that. Service was pretty good and personable. And patient too, while I asked for pretty much every topping they had one by one. The only issues I noticed were firstly, they were somewhat behind in refilling the Coke Freestyle machine so many of the choices had run out, and secondly, lots of tables had crumbs and food remnants, so they probably should do table-cleaning rounds more often.
I normally never spend more than $10 here and it's well worth every dime. This is a personal pizza buffet style place so add whatever you like to whatever crust. Service is moderately fast and the staff are pleasant. This is a great place if you just craving good pizza for yourself.
Pizza is good and the prices are right. Design & eat your pizza the way you like it at no extra charge. They are personal pan pizza's, (just a little larger than the average pan size).
Such a hidden gem!! My husband loves just a regular pie, but I love the customization and options! I try to eat vegan and gluten free and they have both gluten free bread and vegan cheese. If you're a werido like me this place is GOLD!!!
