Don't go here it is the worst waiting staff I've, and you'll, ever have. Waitress took 15 minutes to come get our drink orders, by then we were ready to order, which we did. Our appetizer beat our drinks to the table, which still has me confused. The waitress didn't give us straws when she basically threw down our drinks, my wife's glass was broken as well. Didn't see the waitress for basically the rest of the time there as runners brought our food out to us. We had to get the manager to get us to-go boxes and the check. I'll never go back, and if your thinking about eating here, DON'T just don't, there are so many better places to eat around Dover that will actually care about serving you. You suck Dover TGIF!
Gave 4 stars strictly because our waitress was great. Only ordered apps for a meal. (Cost around $50 including tip and no alcoholic beverages.) Food was ok at the restaurant. Ended up taking leftovers home. Ate leftovers the next night. When reheated at home, the appetizers tasted like old, burnt cooking oil. Had to throw them out. Our server was the only saving grace to the meal.
The food was not bad but the service suck. They brought the appetizer and one of our salads together then six or seven minutes later brought the other salad. Shortly after they brought our meals then that was pretty much the end of seeing them for the rest of the visit
Walked in on military appreciation Monday’s (20% off for military) and the place was empty. My child pulled in her chair, which was broken, and crushed her finger. The service was actually really good. The food came out fast, the waitress very friendly and accommodating. But the food quality was horrible! Soggy boneless wings. A medium steak that was blood red. Ribs that were dry and luke warm. Asked for Mac and cheese with fruit and got fries. Steak meal came with broccoli and we got summer veggies. I feel bad for the wait staff because as good as they were, I know why the place was empty. The food was terrible and the place was not very well kept up. If you offer 20% off the bill on Monday nights to military when you are down the street from a military base, and have 5 tables total, in a chain restaurant that is so successful? Something is wrong.
This Friday’s is way off base. I’ve write complaints they literally get nowhere. I’ve given them chance after chance and they have no actual clue what is supposed to be on menu items. I don’t know if the Gm need a reality check but at the end of the day it truly comes down to them to ensure their staff knows what to do. And clearly they don’t. Or they run out of stuff because orders aren’t correct. It’s actually kind of sad how wrong they let food go out. Every way you look at it they need to take a solid look at what is going on and really hire and fire some different people or retrain the people they actually have. I mean I can spend a day there letting them know everything that should be changed seeing They haven’t a clue and my 12 years experience could likely be a benifit to them. If you simply are going for Jack Daniels sauce that’s fine they can’t mess that one up seeing it’s shipped into them. But if you’re looking to order anything they need common sense to put together don’t bother.
