Interesting little thrift store. Prices are reasonable. Needs public restroom and friendlier staff.
Don't get to Dover very often, but when I do I always stop by. One of the best priced thrift stores I go to.
I've donated here numerous times and i will continue to because they ALWAYS thank me for my donation. In today's society its rare to get a "thank you" because so many people feel entitled so this important to me. I have purchased things also from here and they are usually friendly and helpful however....there was a blonde headed lady in front one time who wasn't very warm and friendly. I don't know if she was the manager or not (I think she was but not sure) but who knows, maybe she was preoccupied with a life issue. I wont let one not so great experience ruin the overall encounters I've had here and take precedence enough to give a bad review on this business. All in all this store is clean, neat, the items are displayed well and organized appropriately so its worth buying here.
When I went into check the place out I thought it seemed like a dream. I was able to find a couch that was for a very low price and the customer service was good and welcoming. I paid for a couch and delivery fee of 25. Their delivery days are only on Thursday. I came on Thursday to buy it so i would have to wait till the following Thursday to recieve my item. So Monday to pickup my item instead since I needed the couch sooner and expected they would refund me my money or give me the choice of something in the store for equal the price. None of that happen. Instead I got from the manager and the sales associate michelle they don't de refunds or hand out of money which i total got if it was on a item but not a delivery. I was also told that they could have sold my couch 5 times over and they only thing that saved me from holding the couch in the store was the fact I brought the delivery fee. They expressed I could only but something more in the store and get a discount but as far as the money being returned they don't do it. So beware of delivery fees and beware of bad customer service . Working in retail 5+ years I know they could have given me something if equal or lesser value they just choose not to. good store just horrible customer service..
Very friendly and willing to help with questions! All ways very clean. I wish they continued there sales. I don't go in as often because of this.
