Very helpful and understanding
We need a car for a planned meeting in TN. Upon arrival we were told that the car I had requested was not available.AVIS tried several other smaller cars but I felt that we needed a more comfortable affordable ride for that distance. We were disappointed and returned home -- car less and started to cancel the TN meeting. About 20 minutes later AVIS called and they had gotten the car we wanted. We drove back to AVIS and picked up the car (only had 100 miles on it). This was definitely above and beyond the call of duty! The girl and her manager at AVIS on 2035 DuPont Hwy, Dover, DE 19901 (DO1) definitely made our day and meeting in TN. Thanks Much -- Tom and Sharon Szewczuk
There were stains on the seats, crumbs on the floor, crumbs in the door compartment, and the car reeked of cigarette smoke. Also, don't expect them to answer the phone.
Came in when there was at least 6 other people there the lady handlr a rude man from nc very well and worked with me to ge t a rental went over and beyond on a busy monday i will be back to rent again
The Dover location is by far the best one I have ever been to. The cars are in great shape and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly! I will certainly be back again.
The people are nice, but don't expect the cars to be clean.
