I had a family member working in this office for a few years. Quite a few of my family members were going to him for different issues. This included myself who was seeing him for sleep issues. I am switching from him. I had an appt canceled. It was a follow up on new meds i was put on. He had to cancel the appt. No problem. When i called to reachedule, i was told i wouldnt be able to follow up with him for 6 months. Thats stupid! He has also changed his entire bedside manner toward the rest pf my family. Or just flat out refuses to treat them. We believe it is because my family member who was an employee at his office left. She didnt leave as a disgruntled employee or anything. She left because she found another job with better hours, benefits, and pay that werent available at his office. Not that that wasa bad thing, she just found something that fit her needs better. I dont like the way were treated there, his office works almost like an assembly line. If you want to be treated in a timely manner, dont go here.
I have only met Dr. Coll/ Rutenburg a few times because I have had 4 appointments mysteriously cancelled by the computer system. Also, one time the staff schedule me an appointment with Dr. Rutenburg and when I took off work and came in for the appointment he was at an all day training. All they had to say was 'oops'. This time I had a sleep study scheduled and I called to check and make sure it was still on the books....suprise, surprise. The receptionist said that it was marked "cancelled by patient"-WRONG!! I am about to give up on this and just spend the rest of my life snoring!
