Went in for severe chest pain. Waited for 6 hours and was told I could not get an EKG because I was too young. As if young people don't get sick. Was sent home with no answers.
If you want immediate attention, arrive in an ambulance!! I walked into the ER, waited 5 hours, walked out. I arrived in an ambulance and received immediate attention!! The doctor(s) were prepared and waiting for me in the ER thanks to the SUPERIOR COMMUNICATIONS between the paramedics and Bayhealth staff. As for rest of my stay, it was pleasant..All nurses and staff in my unit, on my floor, were extremely kind, thoughtful, and definitely knew their craft. And I give praise as they saved my life...literally...massive coronary. If I hadn't arrived in an ambulance would it all have gone so well??? I tend to think yes and hope I am right...
Went in by ambulance 2 weeks ago and was seen immediately. Was a little frustrated cause my care was held up cause the radiologist didn't seem to know how to use the arm to the camera. Apart from that it was a good visit.
Daniel Kemp is a PA and he did an amazing job with giving care!!! I am 100% satisfied with my care and pointed in the right direction!
Worst experience ever! I'm currently looking for disciplinary action through the Delaware Board of Nursing against one of their RN'S. Ill be surprised if I don't wind up with a staff infection from my surgery. Stay away from this hospital!
