I was in the market for a new 2017 VW Passat. I was dealing with the TDI scandal at the time with my 2010 TDI Jetta. It was tough getting me financed because of my credit and the Scandal with the bank. I went to winner Volkswagen and when I explained my situation they more or less blew me off. The finance manager would not even return my call. So I will not recommend them to anybody. I instead called around to other VW places and Garnett was the best of them all. The agent by the name of Ryan and the finance manager by the name of Margo were great. I turned in my TDI on the 13th of Sept 2017 and drove out with a brand new 2017 VW Passat fully loaded. Go to Garnett and ask for Ryan. They were courteous and very helpful and I recommend them highly. Thanks and God bless!!!
I dealt with over half a dozen dealerships when purchasing a new car recently. Winner was the only one that made me feel disrespected and like they were trying to rip me off. The test drive was fine, but once I got to the negotiating table they were demeaning and rude. After lots of agonizing negotiating, they gave me their "rock bottom" price. I knew it wasn't a good deal, because it was thousands higher than the average internet price of the model in question. And indeed, I saved literally thousands of dollars below their price in the end by going to another dealer. But they did their best to try to make me feel like I was being unreasonable with my negotiating, even though I ended up getting offers from multiple different dealers well below their price. Seriously, there are MANY volkswagen dealers with 50 miles of this one, and I guarantee you can get a better price by calling around. This is the only time I've walked out of a dealership feeling that they were trying to take advantage of me. They wouldn't even give me a copy of their (bad) quote, "due to the competitive nature of the market." I've never heard of such a thing. I'm so glad I called and emailed other dealers in the region to find salespeople that didn't disrespect me.
