Pros: Parking was convenient, the room was clean and looked nice, and was sufficient for what we paid.
Okay value for what you get. Sheets aren’t really comfortable and the internet drops sporadically; speed is max 1Mbps up and less than half that down. Don’t expect to be able to use it even for email. Definitly on the lower end of DoD lodging.
Typical government run hotel. Clean and well maintained. The beds are decent. After trying to adjust my air conditioner over a couple days time, they might be connected to a main system, offering little control over individual room temperatures.
Loud music from adjacent room at 0700. Also the 11am checkout is ridiculous especially if you have night duty and are leaving early the next day. You'd think AF billeting would accommodate AF operational needs. No way DTS would cut you slack so member gets screwed with little sleep and late hours. Realize this is AF-wide issue. No DV suite for O6 in party as well.
Cons: The sheets and blanket felt and sounded like paper, the WiFi would go in and out often which was frustrating when I was trying to get work done, and housekeeping came at very weird hours of the day varying everyday we were there.
Quick check in and very friendly staff. Room was clean and above my expectations. Need a better sign coming off highway to indicate the Eagles Rest is on the opposite side of main base.
