Third time here. Staff friendly. Beds adequate. TV work, outlets work, a/c works, water hot, everything is okay.
The reviews trash this place... but I don't understand that. It's a super 8, you know what you're signing up for.

Very convenient last minute stop late at night. Gave us discounted rate cause we only needed for the night overall decent place and good price
We will never come here again. The front desk people were very cordial and friendly. The room smelled awful every day. We got locked out every night. The key would not work. No!!
We booked the Super 8 because all the other hotels in Dover were fully booked. It was OK, and actually much better than I expected based on reviews I have read. Our room was on the second floor facing the lake. This place has no elevator, so be prepared to haul your stuff up some stairs. The room itself was clean and had fairly nice bedding, and both a microwave and a nice sized fridge. The bathroom was clean, and we both really liked the shower. The only annoyance was that the bathroom light and fan were on the same switch, and I hate that. During the night we each woke each other up by turning on the bathroom light. It sounded like an aircraft taking off. That's a small thing though, and not enough of an issue to prevent me from staying here again. Especially if we could get a room on the first floor.
The room I had was clean and in good repair. A little worn in places but not too bad. Got a good price. A nice lake behind the hotel
